The Spinach Party Challenge
Tired of politicians talking about their principles without explaining what they are? Neither the Republican nor Democratic parties have ever adopted any principles to govern their thinking, and certainly haven't posted them anywhere for all to see. No, they seem to make things up as they go along, attempting to woo votes from the audience of the day. Like unicorns, their principles have been heard of, but have never been seen. It's high time they ponied up!
How about you? Do you really know what your priniples are? While we all say we have principles, how many of us can actually articulate them? If so, can you write them down?
The Spinach Party encourages people to explore and discover their own principles, physically commit them to paper and to place them into their own spinach can. To have a spinach can is to say, "I have principles. They're in here. I know who I am. Who are you?"
| As the great American philosopher Popeye the Sailor so eloquently said... | |
| • | "I yam what I yam and tha's all what I yam." (know who you are) |
| • | "Wrong is wrong, even when it helps ya." (never compromise your principles) |
| • | "That's all I can stands, cuz I can't stands n'more!" (don't tread on me) |
Take the Spinach Party Challenge today. Find and write your principles down and "To thine own self be true." Create your very own can of strength.
